I also saw them live at the Apollo in Adelaide. Can't remember the year. No special effects, no huge light show, just 4 blokes in jeans and flanos playing music. One of the best concerts I ever saw and I've seen a few.

can we keep the 'best of' albums out of the list? keep it to the normal stuff

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage
Beatles - White Album
Lou Reed - Transformer
Rolling Stones - Some Girls

Neil Young - Harvest
Elton John - Madman Across the Water
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
James Taylor - Mud Slide Slim
Rod Stewart - Every Picture Tells a Story

Reflecting my view that the singer-songwriter era of the 70s produced the best music ever.

It's true I like my music heavy, but every now and then an album comes along that I take a shine to.

Frampton Comes Alive I bought when it was first released. Mainly got it for Do You Feel Like I Do, but the whole album is great.

Made In Japan.........well, it's Deep Purple and Ritchie Blackmore was a very heavy influence on me.

Might surprise you to know I also like the Little River Band. One of the best harmony bands in the world IMHO.

It's called a voice box. Well it was in my day. You play it like a digerydoo. Breath in through your nose and out of your mouth at the same time.
