We're 15th in the comp on win % (NRL ladder is misleading). Getting close to must win territory already.

Titans often seem to give us problems even when they're not going so well. And they've just beaten the Sea Eagles and Eels so they're travelling alright.

I expect a strong showing for the first 15 minutes so the players can prove they used their BYE wisely and reaped the benefits of it, only for the wheels to falls off and we give in.

Titans 38-16.

Seriously though. The Titans are as dangerous and capable as any team in this comp. They just have their own set of catastrophic lapses.

Apparently Elliott will be back for this one. Hopefully we get the Raiders Elliott this time.

As Rod said, we're odds on to lose to the Titans even when they're around our level.

Our best hope is that they're shit outside QLD.

Not sure why anyone would instantly expect a win with this one...

Hopefully we get the plodder Dave Fafita and not the immortal one that usually plays against us

I can’t see anyone expecting a win here. On recent performances the Titans are a much better team than us.

The players have literally no excuse not to aim up here for the whole game. They’re rested, they’ve been allowed to go off whether they want leaving the club and coach open to criticism. If we lose because of some bad decisions out of dummy half or because the attack is clunky due to new combinations it’s expected but if we lose again on the back of poor commitment, easy handling errors and line speed heads need to roll.

That’s the thing about such a bad performance before a bye, we forget how well we were going just a few weeks ago.
If we can get back to the way we were playing in the first half against the Panthers we will go good.
It’s a big “if”.

Did we sign a 9 in the break?
No?
Oh ok, yea probably a loss coming up.
But the problem will definitely be how players spent the bye week.

No reason to believe we can suddenly control or win the ruck without a 9 who knows how to do so. Hard to see us winning this.

I bet Dom is really going to miss that M&J Chickens sponsorship when he leaves to the Roosters.
