He also crashed a golf cart. And he did it while naked! That showed mercurial leadership for the times. It catapulted him to fame in Europe, where he joined the top rugby union club Bayonne, and also captained Italy in the Six Nations and World Cup before 60,000 adoring Italian fans. He then joined the London Broncos in Super League, and helped them to win many games. He was a true legend.
