The matchups;

Western Conference

1. San Antonio Spurs (61-21) vs 8. Memphis Grizzlies (46-36)

2. LA Lakers (57-25) vs 7. New Orleans Hornets (46-36)

3. Dallas Mavericks (57-25) vs 6. Portland Trail Blazers (48-34)

4. OKC Thunder (55-27) vs 5. Denver Nuggets (50-32)

Eastern Conference

1. Chicago Bulls (62-20) vs 8. Indiana Pacers (37-45)

2. Miami Heat (58-24) vs 7. Philadelphia 76ers (41-41)

3. Boston Celtics (56-26) vs 6. NY Knicks (42-40)

4. Orlando Magic (52-30) vs 5. Atlanta Hawks (44-38)

Might as well add a breakdown of how it works for those who aren't familiar.

For each conference;

a) Winner of 1 vs 8 plays the winner of 4 vs 5.
b) Winner of 2 vs 7 plays the winner of 3 vs 6.

Winners of the above two matches plays each other in the respective Conference Finals. Winners of the Conference Finals will face off in the NBA Finals.

Really looking forward to the playoffs. Has been one of the best regular seasons that I can remember. Hopefully the playoff can take it to another level.

OK just found out that Manu hurt his elbow in the Spurs loss to the Suns. Not sure how serious it is.

The more I think about it, the more I'm interested to see how close the Spurs vs Grizzlies series can get.

Knicks are a massive darkhorse these finals.... I am really liking them at the moment, although they seem to rely on a massive 4th quarter.

As a basketball fan it would be amazing of the knicks or bulls came through.

Has the TV schedule been announced? I can't pass up the oppurtunity to actually watch the Pacers.

Bulls 4-0 Pacers we won't win a game but if Noah is out I think Hibbert will be a boss in the paint.

You really think you guys won't get at least one against them?

I know this sounds crazy cause they had the best record in the league, but I'm just not sold on the Bulls.

I'm sold on the Bulls.

Danny Granger was stupid to come out and say the Bulls are easier to beat than the Celtics.

Why give them material to use against you?

SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is doubtful for Game 1 against Memphis after spraining his right elbow in the regular-season finale.

The All-Star had an MRI exam Thursday that confirmed the sprain. Ginobili hyperextended the elbow in the first quarter of Wednesday's loss at Phoenix.

The Spurs said Ginobili will be listed as doubtful for the playoff opener Sunday. San Antonio locked up the No. 1 seed in the West last week and plays the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round.

Everyone thinks that the Spurs will lose should they play the Thunder round 2.

I have to agree, as a team we don't match up well. Then again we always lift come playoffs to a new gear.

Yeah it's pretty underwhelming for the first round.

Wouldn't mind some Heat vs Sixers.

Interesting first half. Pacers up 55-51 against the Bulls. Collison was, at times, ripping Rose in the first half. Rose guilty of chucking up too many 3 pointers.

Refs pretty clearly favouring the Bulls.

I think the Bulls will start strong in the 3rd.

Wtf is this the 2006 NBA Finals?

So far Rose has shot more FT's (16) then the entire Pacers team (13).

Pacers up 79-71 at the end of the 3rd.

Seems as though Hansbrough's picked up a concussion and won't return. Would be a big loss, he's been intense this game.

85-81. Bulls shortening the lead with Rose on the bench.

I'm so rooting for the Pacers lol.

Psycho T is back and is doin work. Big game from him.

Rose 0-9 from 3 point range...When the refs are giving you calls every time you drive into the lane, seems a bit strange to be taking so many 3s.
