A lot of “what if’s”, “maybe’s” and “possibly’s”.

More factual story of the Wolfpack scoring a $10 million extra funding for 2019.

Fair enough. Go on planet rugby league again, they have some positive news coming out of the mid west with hopes for a conference in 2020.
Follow planet rugby league on Facebook. Good news feed.
Will do marra. Heard a lot of noise about the Chicago stockyarders for years but they never seem to go to that next level and join the league.

I also wonder if monte Gaddis has anything to do with Cleveland??

Hi,

Thanks for the shout out for the Stockyarders. Apologies for a delayed response.

We will not be able to join the USARL until the proposed MW conference comes to fruition. That is dependent on other owner / operators in this region coming forward with the funds and passion available to join us on our quest. Our aim is 2020 and we are still working towards that goal with several interested parties.

We are working tirelessly on this as ever and will keep you all updated as news develops.

In the mean time you'll continue to hear plenty of noise from us. We are glad to hear that term as this is our aim. We are here year after year to champion Rugby league in Chicago with great events like the MW Challenge (2017 v Coogee Dolphins and 2018 v Ontario RL) and the MWRL development games.

Keep an eye on our local development games this year (#MWRL2019) which we hope will feature new teams as announced recently in Columbus and possibly Milwaukee. There is also potentially 1 other new team that may feature and the interest in our sport in the MW has never been as strong.

Monte is the driving force behind Cleveland RL and it was fantastic to work with them in 2018. We hope this team continues into 2019 and beyond and the future looks promising for RL in our region.

Kind Regards

Thanks for that very informative reply mike. RL developing and taking hold in the Midwest is very exciting as there are some big cities and world renowned cities at that in that part of the US.

Keep up the good work my friend and I’m sure you’ll eventually reach your goal and I’ll be keeping a close lookout for all things stockyarders and Midwest RL related.
