Good that they put "Rugby League" into their logo too. Its is shit losing that little bit of good PR we can get to Union. If we arent going to change this stupid f*cking name, we need to scream from the f*cking rooftops the name Rugby LEAGUE...

It's 4 or 5 guys from the Mayhem forming a hometown club. If you ask anyone from Lakeland where they're from on holiday, they'd say Tampa. Ulch from the Mayhem will be player/coach/captain etc

Florida seems to be turning into a strong region for rugby league, great news about the new team, love the name and logo too.

Would seriously love to see RL move and expand westwards towards Texas which like Florida has a huge population with some big cities nicely spread out throughout the state. The gulf conference if you will.

For sure man. It's a little gutting to lose our first homegrown coach and probably best player but we had about 30 odd signed on last year. Losing five won't kill us tbh It's all about the growth of the game! We're excited for them tbh They've got some decent sponsorship already and probably start on a sounder financial footing than we were
