Frustating 14-10 loss for Newtown against Blacktown in dire conditions. Atkinson and TPT had some good moments in a mistakeathon of a game.

Atkinson was great in everything may as well had 6/7 on his jersey Puru was poo not sure how much longer they stick with him
Tuks energised lots of 1% effort plays 10 in the bin late for a high shot of the shoulder should be ok.
Hunt 2 x 25 min stints to start and finish 2nd stint was better than the first but that wasn’t hard should call him 0% for the lack of involvements.
Dykes still playing well within himself let 90% bombs bounce but the odd moments you can see he has that ability but is going to take time.
Burns ok with the odd issue.
Stakes boy had a few errors today.
The rest are jets only players for a reason.

Puru contract up end of season, be interesting if he heads back to Panthers, they will need some back up.

Can't see it. They have Cole waiting in the wings. Schneider. Jett Cleary (being wooed by Warriors) and about 65 more in their lowers.

I don't think Penrith let's young ones go if they want them. Considering they have cap challenges every year they'd want to keep the better ones.

They have stuffed up on Katoa at the Dolphs though. He's a gooder.

I can’t really cop Justin horo but him and mason went through Penrith’s losses since 2020 gf on this weeks podcast.

To me it's not about the jets winning the comp that is just a bonus.
It's getting players ready for first grade that is the key.

The problem with the Jets at the moment they have to many players who know they won’t ever make the top grade.
IMO you need more youth and players who believe if everything goes their way they may get a chance. Bringing Billy M back was a mistake
