A Rock poll without Kiss???, "the greatest band in the world"

Rolling Stones??.....more a pop orientated band then rock.

Silver Chair??....insult to the band s above them how they could even be considered on such a list....they would go better in a poll with the likes of the Choir Boys, Jimmy Barnes, Tina Arena, Nikki Webster

Pearl Jam??....one good album doesn't make them the best.

Nirvana??..... they destroyed real rock music, how could they be put on such a list....there a grunge band not rock.

Kiss are the best IMO over 100 million albums there sold and still selling out concerts city to city around the world 30 years after they began say's it all!!

BTW

Def Leopard are legends...one of the best bands all time & musically fantastic...just like many of the 80's hair bands eg Gunners, Ratt, Motely Crue, Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden etc!!

i had a point to make

and i made it

pearl jam is the hitler of music

I agree. Its just so goddamned awful and I hate them.

Firstly to Ron - One good album? Get your hand off it. No Code, Vitalogy and Yield are great albums for mine as well

What is awful about it? Ed Ved is a great songwriter. They don't give a f**k about commercialism, they make 3 video clips in one day  They don't go all out with their video clips when they do make one, its not big budget

I mean, to each their own, but i find it hard to respect those who can't acknowledge what Pearl Jam is

Cheers,
Moffo

And while we are at it, Kiss are a pile of dog shit as well. If I ever hear from them again it will be too soon

Over-commercialised, 70s glamour rock, the image might be good but the music is wretched. Id rather listen to a cement truck for 10 hours then listen to another Kiss song

Cheers,
Moffo

Now Now jealousy won't get you anywhere in this world , how can over 100 million people be wrong ;-)

Kiss musically where great!!, Peter Criss is a magnificent drummer......one of the best there is behind John Bonnah & Tommy Lee, Paul Stanley is a tremendous vocalist....no one can disagree with that & besides Ace Frehleys drug habbits he is still a great guitarist and wrote many of Kiss's famous guitar riffs.

People cannot critisise Kiss...there the most succesfull rock group of all time & and still have 5 million people in there Army.

Any critisism of them is just laughable & scrapping at the bottom of the barrell for insults.

Pearl Jams 10 was the only true great album of Pearl Jam....Vitology was BORING! (besides spin the black circle)

Zep from that list, Floyd 2nd.

I remember at LWOS the triple M top 1000 rock songs of all time thread, it was a great thread. Pity their (MMM's) top 20 was tainted.

Eminem came in at number 2. I haven't listened to MMM since.
