The protests got an enormous amount of media throughout the world and highlighted that a large number of people are so unhappy that they are willing to march in the street. The Don might still be president but he has just received a very public slap in the face that didn't go unnoticed by the rest of the world.

I don't think he gives a shit. He only cares about the 40% or so that even bother to vote.

If these protesters directed their energy towards their apathetic colleagues who cry after the fact and don't even bother to vote then maybe they would achieve their objective.

You really think that the celebrities who head these rallies lives will change with Trump? The status quo will remain and as always only the little people will be affected who ironically voted mostly for Trump. In fact most of his votes came from people on US$70k. How much is Meryl and her Social Justice warriors on again?

Their input is as effective as the shit we post on a footy forum.

The guy has proven time and time again that he is a thin skinned egomaniac. Of course he cares. 1 million people in the streets because of him would make him livid. The narcissist in him prevents him from actually grasping why #womensmarch even happened and has him looking for someone to blame instead of fixing the divisiveness that he has created in his society in such a short time.
