Finally Ropati has been picked over that overrated hack Leuiaui, hope he has a blinder and makes sure Leuiaui is never picked again as a five eighth.

Warriors by 8.

I think Sione and Vinnie need to swap places however - put Vinnie in the second row, Sione in the centres.

Ambitious? To say you'd make the top 8 last season was ambitious, and look what happened.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. A few harsh words from Ando, players knowing they're on notice, Ericsson Stadium, Warriors by 6.

Did you actually read the team lineup? Sione IS in the centres, partnered with Vinnie. A smart move I reckon considering Penrith's fondness for running Puletua and Gulavao at opposion centres we'll need their bulk in the area. Good to see Jerry back in the team and along with Lauaki in the starting pack we should get some decent go-forward this weekend.

i think the hair-bears will think twice about taking on our backline.
i already feel sorry for little preston cambell, they will destroy him.
hope girdler is back.

ando has made a statement here,, i cant see tooks playing again for the warriors, i think he,s finnished.
toopi had a crap game last week but he has to play himself into some form,, ando is giving him a chance
henry will more than match rooney whereas murph would have been outclassed.

Saying you'll win by 16 is a bit ambitious isn't it.

history says its ambitious mick (you lot have won the last 4 games) but the warriors are hurting.
its going to be a hard game to watch,, i scream for the panthers except when they are playing us. :|

I agree Thierry, it seems a bit harsh that he is made a 'scapegoat' when he has been forced to play out of position (dummy half).

I don't think for a second though that the team named will be the one that runs out on Sunday ... not sure why, but I get the feeling that Daniel Anderson is keeping a lot of cards close to his chest.

Its good to see Jobson have a run, well hopefully anyway, can't believe both of the Warriors wingers are still there, bring back the SMURF, other then that good team apart from having a bartercard cup qualilty player on the bench "TOOPI".

It will be interesting to see who actually starts this weekend.

Hope Seu Seu is fit enough. No go forward this week, probably no win.

Some interesting changes, but there has got to be more intensity in carting the ball up the middle for any of them to count, IMO. The breaks we made against the Bulldogs in last years semi came off the back of our forwards dominating theirs. I think if our forwards can get enough of a roll on, our timing will come right & the passes will start to stick.

Sorry guys, but I'm not keen on Seuseu, I watched this guy run sideways against the Panthers at Albany, if he does that this sunday, we'll get murdered, I'm also at a loss to explain why Leuluai has been made a scapegoat, when the forwards didn't do a dang thing last week.

This team looks good, but it has one specialist Hooker and no backup, so again we'll do what we have in the last two matches and reshuffle the team to suit, hell i thought thats been our problem, we been playing too many players out of position as a stop gap measure, end result, we end up with big holes down the middle of our ruck and no defense.

The good thing about it, yeah there is a plus, the senior guys are on notice so that can only be good or very bad for us this week, either shape up and play for your team or get out, for that reason I like what I see, but i also see big holes which were there in the last two games, but at least I'm as optimistic as the next guy in the hope we get the win.

The NZ Herald said:
(Tony) Martin has a hip injury that will keep him out for an undetermined period. He may have a cortisone injection and be able to play on but was not named for Sunday.

And the games begin ...
