It's so weird because rugby league still had things happening unlike he AFL. Besides analysing the GF there is all the international matches coming up (like Samoa vs Fiji tomorrow).

We wonder why SOO rates so well and no one gives a f**k about international football. SOO basically gets advertised year round and really kicks into gear basically as soon as the NRL does. Then around SOO it gets a media blitz like nothing else.

The four nations on the other game basically won't be advertised or talked about until it's on our doorstep. Even then the people involved in the game show a clear disdain for international league. This is why international league has and will continue to go nowhere.

0 chance we were going to get a "Monday Night with Matty Johns" the week after the Grand Final. Johns had an o/s jaunt to Japan already booked in for last week.

I've never understood why NRL 360 and the Matty Johns Show don't go on for at least a week after the end of the season. The could review the GF and preview the Four Nations at least. Opportunity lost.

I remember years ago NRL on FOX would go on for another week, except it would be the 'best of' show but still discuss the Grand Final.

I would've loved to have a show on Fox discussing the Grand Final and the predictions for 2017. Especially after last year's Grand Final.

is nrl summertime happening this year? might be out of the times but remember when pre-season started they would go from club to club showing training techniques, how players are pulling up after surgeries etc. Never forget a few years ago seeing them filming at the sharks and while an interview was happening you could see luke douglas in the distance having a yak on the field after finishing whatever drill was happening lol
