The NRLUS have made an announcement on there website www.nrlus.com that ESPN360 will be showing the Four Nations games on replay. Great news with that.

But you would thnk a Rugby League site would get the code right wouldn't you?

The big heading on there website says "Rugby On ESPN 360". Then the main story mentions "ESPN360.com plans to carry the following Rugby matches over the next couple of weeks"

They didn't say Union, so what's the problem? It is RUGBY League after all.

A lot of countries don't have the same cross-code hang-ups that you've got coach.

I've taken to calling it rugby when speaking to Americans during my stay here. It's easier than explaining the many subtle (and not so subtle) differences between League and Union.

Come on guys take the sun glasses off for a moment. To every man and his dog, Rugby is known as Rugby Union. Rugby League is lnown as either Rugby League or League.

Come on man take the blinkers off. To 99.9% of Americans rugby is rugby of either code. Does it really matter?

'Every man and his dog' is not you. I've done a lot of traveling and I can assure you, that 'rugby' is not always 'rugby union'.

In a country (USA) where they are hoping to promote the game of Rugby League as Rugby league.

Hopefully a lot of American union fans will tune in and wonder why they have not been playing RUGBY :D:D

Coach, it's really just NSW and Qld (and maybe NZ?) that don't call league 'rugby'.

Growing up in Sydney, I used to always tell people they were wrong to call league 'rugby', but I've actually come around to the other view. Why should the no neck kiddy fiddlers have the name all to themselves.

Coach, a lot of places call Rugby League 'Rugby'. I don't particularly like it but who is to say whats right. I would be able to cope with calling the game "League", but to much of the world a league is a style of competition, so a Rugby League is a type of Rugby competition, a cup is an alternate style of competiton etc.

What I hate is people refering to our great game as NRL. That is just one competition.

You are correct with what you say. But in the USA they need to differentiate between the two codes.
