Gallen at prop :lol:...I don't care what anyone says, he is not a prop at this level. Gidley as the utility, expected. Hopoate is a good selection.

Teams looks bloody good, bit disappointed for Snowden but he'll be back. Not seeing King there has made my day.

I really like it actually. They've picked some of our most dangerous players in Lewis, Hayne and Watmough. Dugan will be out, so I think the backline will be reshuffled with Lewis going to the centres and a prop coming in.

As mentioned in the other thread 1-7 looked good then it goes to dear oh dear. That backrow looks weak without Gallen there, if you are going to move him then at least put Lewis there.

Props need to get some good metres per hit up at this level. Gallen is the best lock, pick him there....

That is why I refuse to follow NSW. They have no clue in the f**king world, Nathan Merritt has hardly put any foot wrong the whole year, He is one of the best under the high ball in the entire NRL, and he is a f**king specialist winger, and can find his way to the tryline.

They've done even worse with the forwards... What does Grant have to do to get a run? An actual FRONT-ROWER who has been playing. consistently well. Yeah, you could argue Gallen plays like a prop anyway, but why weaken one position when we've got true front-rowers ready? If Gallen isn't at lock, I think Lewis be there instead of on the bench.

And I don't see how Dugan can be named despite being injured. If Dugan's out, Hayne fullback, Hopoate wing and Idris centre, I'd prefer Hopoate on the wing rather than the centres.

Lewis should be lock, with Creagh f**ked off and another prop on the bench (anyone but King or Weyman)

Seriously just a couple minor tweaks and the team would be infinitely better.

Any word of who 18th man is for Dugan? Or will Stuart Judy be like homer coaching little league and forfeit should the dugs not be available?

And Hopoate is? If youre gonna choose someone at least choose someone who will be there for the medium term the Manly bloke is going away and not even first 2 centres for his club play him on the wing or nothing.

I like the side and Gallen plays like a prop anyways, there will be no big change to his game, a much better team.

Only thing i would do is take Creagh out and start Lewis and Bring TLL to the bench.

Good to see King gone, and with Morris injured he was going to miss the cut anyway but no real loss.

Lewis and Kidley on the reserves bench look good, althogh with Dugan out Kidley may get moved to fullback? I like that the selectors have given young Will Hopoate a taste of Origin football. I think the kid will become a main-stay for the Blues in the near future, hopefully he gives us all a pleasant surprise the way Uate did last game. I believe in this team.
