India won the toss and (shock horror) elected to bat

Day 1: 3/356

Vijay 108
Pujara 83
Kholi 111*
Rahane 45*

Bangers in a world of pain, something Australia can look forward to as well

They're using DRS in this series? Does that mean it's happening in our series against them?

That review by the Bangas was horrendous.

Kohli looks unstoppable in this one...scoring quickly and completely unflustered. Only thing stopping him getting a big double will be himself.

The injuns have carried their bats for so long their arms are ready to fall off, and from batting so long their feet are ready to fall off, I just know it.

Mehedi Hasan is awesome. He'll be a brilliant cricketer down the track. And so stoked to score his fifty, he looks like a kid who loves the hell out of the game.

Bangladesh all out for 388, 300 behind. India do not enforce the follow on.

Mushthef**ker scored a good fighting hundred.

Semi serious question...

Do India even play away tests anymore?

I don't understand how any international cricket team is allowed to schedule 13 consecutive home tests, least of all India who's sole existence is based on home advantage. Hopefully, this dismantling of the big three will stop this kind of nonsense.

Anyway, pretty solid effort from the Bangers to take it to Day 5.

Yeah, in India the tourists getting to Day 5 is often a good effort

I remember India coming to NZ and getting caught on a series of raging green seamers. Man they lost their minds. The media went nuts. Go to India and play in Super Highways which then turn square and bounce all over the place and there's never so much as a gasp from them.

If Shakib Al Hasan is Bangladesh's best bat, why does he come in at 5?

Bangladesh intrigues me..it formed because their people thought Pakistan wasn't strict enough with the religion stuffo_O

Because he's also their best bowler. It's a big ask to bowl as many overs as he does and then bat right up the order. Some of their top order bats are quite talented. They just need experience.

Yep. And quality experience. Shakib is an absolute gun, Soumya and Mahmadullah have plenty of potential, Mushfiqur is a tough little bugger,Taskin looks a good bowler too, Mehedi could be anything despite struggling in NZ...he can't really be blamed for that IMO, 19 years old, first overseas tour and wickets that have never spun more than a few mm in the history of cricket.

They need top level opponents and more FC opportunities as well.
