Alright, so Origin is looming and I think it's probably fair enough to start picking our teams.

Apologies to the Queenslanders here, you're free to post your QLD teams too, but i'm feeling like this will mostly be a NSW team thread.

Here is my team.

11. Frizell

Sorry to put a damper on this thread but
Its not every year we could contemplate visions of grandeur of playing finals footy. I'm being completely selfish in hoping few of our players are selected.
Regardless, if Pearce is selected, we have no hope. Time for Daley to show some backbone and some others in the halves.
I might live on the Gold Coast but on blue, thru & thru.

Daley is a complete gronk and will stick pretty much to his old team and just hope the Qld'ers are a year older and slower.
Look at Daley there isn't an original idea in his head.
Meninga will also influence him to pick certain players.

Tedesco
Jimmy the Jet
Dugan
Walker
Ferguson
Maloney
Pearce
Fifitta
Farrah
Woods
Cordner
Frizzell
Graham

Jackson
James / Klemmer
Boyd
Bird
18th man J Trobojevic (maybe a bolter)

Pearce has a mortgage on the 7 jumper.
Plenty of commentators rooting for him to be back in the fold as is the odd dog or two evidently.

If you think Hayne won't be or shouldn't be in that team you are the delusional one.
Hayne will be there and will probably get MOM, as much as I cannot stand the guy.

8 rounds in an exactly what has Hayne done to deserve selection.
Not an incumbent and Meninga stated not on his radar for Australian selection so he's got no chance.

Sorry this is SOO selections isn't it?
WTF has mal got to do with SOO?
Hasn't Hayne been injured for half the 8 rounds and didn't he win man of the match last night against sharks in his comeback?
I gaurentee that Hayne will be playing origin, 1000 per cent

Do you honestly believe that Mal doesn't influence selection for SOO?
National selectors for years have had the ear of the SOO coaches and make requests where applicable.
Feguson as winger and Dugan as a centre are classic examples.
Re Hayne have it your way we shall see soon enough and as far as Hayne getting the MOM last night what a joke plenty better than that imposter.
Another one of the media's chosen sons getting accolades they don't deserve.

Like him or not OT, he is a show pony that performs well on the big stage. I think that he must be in the team.
As for who to or how they award MOM I will just leave that up to the experts and trust when I read in the morning paper that a play has won Man of the Match that he has had a good game.

Experts LOL
Aren't they the peoples that gave us Penrith as the premiership favourites?
Aren't they the people who said Bronco's are finished, Bennett has lost his mojo etc etc?
Aren't they the people that were giving us a bottom 2 finish if not the spoon?
Aren't they the people that are still loathe to pick us to win a game despite what we have achieved this year?
Aren't they the people that continually talked Benji up?

Did you actually watch the game last night?
I would guess that probably you didn't because IMO at least 4 other players more deserving than Hayne and 2 of those were on the losing side.
The experts as you call them just love to crawl up an arse or 2 and Hayne just happens to be one of them.
