Gould has been back at Penrith for 6 years so if there ever was a 5 year plan it is over now.The fifth year ended with the side making the second week of the finals so it seems to have gone OK.

I think you'll get a very stern test next weekend, looking forward to it.

He sacked a coach in cleary who runs his own ship as he wouldnt do as he was told.

He found a sheep in griffin who would NEVER have gotten another nrl gig - as Gus knew griffin would stick his head in the oven if told to.
Gus now coaches the side but griffin is allowed to attend pressos.

It was nothing to do with drinking. It was going out past their curfew. There was booze available in the hotel bar if they wanted to drink. More likely the attraction was crumpet.
