The tournament is still months away, but already we've had confirmation from some nations whether they'll be taking part in the Men's, Women's or both RL9s events.

Solomon Islands: Men's & Women’s
Cook Islands: Men's & Women’s
Fiji: Men's & Women’s
Vanuatu: Men's & Women’s

PNG, Tonga & Samoa have not yet announced anything, but it would be expected that they enter teams in at least the Men's (PNG will do both).

Haven't heard if Niue or Tokelau will attend again as they have in previous events.

wow how embarrassing for PNGRL.

I have no idea what their excuse will be. They are supposed to be announcing a squad this week.

And the PNG Olympic Committee really have some balls to have made this call. This is not going to go down well.

I would be surprised if the government steps in here to reverse it, but still poor by the PNGRFL.

I had no idea who he was, but by the sounds of things, he's got a lot of experience and he's with the current champs the Penrith Panthers. That's where half of the samoan teams from which would probably help out a lot. It's definitely a upgrade over Parish
