surely there are much better odds going for the margins than buying a lotto or powerball ticket.

can any smart maths people out there work out the odds for the margins

might can the lotto tickets for 5 margin tickets a week

I mean if you get a perfect round how much harder is it to pick the margins ?
with margins being 1-10, 11-20 and 20+
it would be 3 ^7 woudnt it? which is 1/2197 chance.

Preety good odds me thinks when you compare it to lotto.

You have 1-10,11-20,21+ for each side plus the draw. Since it's on after the Golden Point it's really only 1 in 279936 as a draw is unlikely.

In QLD we only have 1-12,13+ for each team, so it's easier, but doesn't pay nearly as well.
