playing online - ps3

does anyone know if they take the servers down for certain games.

like i tried to play ps3 fifa 09 the other day online, for the first time in a year and i couldnt get on. have they just removed the online server? so you have to buy fifa 10

Yeah EA has taken down servers for some of their older games recently. Whether FIFA 09 is one of them or not I can't say for sure.
