By virtue of his large web of players, Mimis has blocs at several clubs - but none more significant than at the Dragons, where he represents Mark Gasnier, Jason Ryles, Ben Creagh and Matt Cooper.
He also represents coach Nathan Brown and takes him and Dragons boss Peter Doust on study trips to the UK and the US.
"He certainly has control of some of the marquee players in our club," Doust has said before. "I'd say more than 50 per cent of the assets. But that's a reflection of how good they've been in their business, not necessarily how much influence they have here."
Some club bosses aren't so sure. They say the Dragons feel obliged to take on lesser-name players for larger deals because Mimis represents its biggest stars. As one puts it: "Mimis has got the Dragons by the balls."
