St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor has named a 21-man squad for the Round 21 clash against the Newcastle Knights at McDonalds Jones Stadium, Newcastle on Saturday, July 29.

Josh Dugan (hamstring) will return to the side in the centres following Matt Dufty's solid NRL debut last weekend against the Sea Eagles.

Dugan – who will play his 150th NRL game – replaces Euan Aitken (shoulder) in the centres.

Let's hope is is in time to come!
I think this week is the game to throw Luciano back into first grade. I know there is a lot at stake but when I look at the bench, I see Simms, Packer, Mann and a big opportunity for the guy and the club. Perhaps we can stop second guessing on this guy as well as we learnt last week with Duffy.

And drop Host ???

Dugan to the centres. Has McIdiot done this because of Aitkin's injury or is he going to play Dufty from now on at fullback
Don't see Field listed anywhere. Is he out injured

The second best thing McGregor has ever done is selecting Dufty at starting fullback last week.

The best thing he has ever done for our club is picking him there this week.

I am super happy. This is what gives supporters hope and reasons to think our fortune and prospects will turn around. Dugan did well enough in Origin at centres and in any case, he is no longer our future.

Probably our strongest side based on form..no excuses for this weekend against the bottom team but having said that they are no longer easy beats.....Packer needs to lift hes down on all counts .......I cant see its an injury thats the problem otherwise why pick him these past 2 weeks.....cmon Russ we know your going but you owe the club that stood by you one last big effort till season end

It's that big fat Tigers contract that is weighing him down.

Our best team line up in 5 years!!

Honestly we could put on another huge score against the Knights this week!

Dufty will be feeling 10ft tall ousting Dugan from the FB position.
