Apparently Robert Stone has been taken to hospital for tests after falling ill at the club today. No other details at this stage.
Robert Stone is hard committed worker, a true club man, and a top bloke. Hoping its not serious.

Best wishes to Stoney and his family. Get well soon.

Yes Stoney did have a bad turn last week and ended up in hospital and after numerous tests it was discovered that he has a tumor just above the temple.

He is going to be operated on Thursday week, apparently it registers as about 2 out of a 1 - 5 ratio so hopefully he should fully recover but wont be able to drive for 12 months or have a drink (alcohol) for 2 years!!

The man is a true legend

Not even in a wheelchair he was at the launch of the Legneds Walk only days after having major surgery. He looked as fit and as normal as ever, though a tad groggy. He's as tough as they come- Well done Stoney!

Just heard the same Benny. Apparently Stoney was walking around Jubilee Oval today in high spirits. Good on him.
