Rookie of the year in 2012?

Who's the player who has the potential to break in the NRL for rookie of the year in 2012? We had some real class this year with Cherry-evans, and Sims. Will next year be as good?

Curtis Sironen and Jacob Miller are ones to look out for the tigers if they can both crack first grade

I don't expect next season to be as good, this year was one of the best ever year's for rookies and generally the list of rookies tends to dry up every other year.

With that said, the likes of Moga, Tohu Harris, Finucane and Austin should impress next year.

Rookies at the knights will have a hard time cracking the grade on a regular basis unless injuries hit.

Ethan Cook might be the one who makes the grade. Or if the local rugby is anything to go by, Mark Wade looks ready to impress. He is very big for 21 and could be another Sims with his mix of strength and speed.

Other thank that we blooded too many rookies this year (Stig, Roberts, Tetevano, MataUtai etc.) to have a big 2012 class. Could be a position for a hooker there if Bedsy can't last the season.

Aren't considerations made to players who have debuted the previous season on the provision that they have only played a small handful (say 5) matches?

Blake Austin? Yes, he is held in high hopes by Penrith fans, as is Harry Seijka. Both showed a lot of promise when they were blooded in the last few rounds.

Yeah, no more than 3 games.

And yes, Blake Austin. He could become a very handy player for the Panthers.

He's played 4 and 3 is the limit.

It's unfortunate, since Taumalolo is really going to rip up next season.

Roosters' biggest chance would be Tautau Moga but he'll still be 18 next year so can't expect anything of him yet.

If V.Tia-Kilifi or Pelasio stay injury free they will go very close to being rookie of the year

Michael Chee Kam or Jack Wighton are the raiders best chances, Wighton is a 5/8th but is training at centre to start the year, and Chee Kam is a big rangey centre, the raiders are a bit light on outside backs so an injury or two could see them get a chance.

But i dont recon we'll have legit contenders this year, we're still banking on the crop from a few years ago to come good with Campese and Dugan.

Was going to say Kyle Stanley, thought he had only played ~4 games this season. He actually played 13... woops.

Cam King will go well, should be an interesting battle between him and Rein, trying to push Fien out of the squad.
