yep

lets put AK in the team.

Even the local paper has printed a story about his fugged attitude.

I understand the attitude. i don't accept it but i understand it.

I'm pizzed off at the way he's been treated so i can only imagine how he feels.

Yeah - let's NOT put him in the team.

They can't win a game - so let's persevere with the same loseing side every week.

Now THAT'S a fugged attitude the paper should be writing about.

because it ain't normal.

it happens at no other club in any sport in any competition in the world.

so reward blokes with a 1st grade spot for rocking up late to training and bludging when they get there?

geeze, you'd instill team harmony .

He has spat the dummy obviously and he deserves no reward for that.

Not that he would be promoted to firsts anyway. He is very aware of that and thus, he has spat the dummy.
which came first - the dummy spit or the realistation he was going to get another crack.

The latter.

Everybody knows we are a club that can't compete with the free point scoring sides in the comp. we don't rack up 30 points a game.

You need players who play the way AK plays to do that. he was bought for that and then punted after he made some arrors whilst playing in a foreign position.

never to be tried again even though firsts were being consistently beaten.

i'd imagine his poor attitude gives some the chance to justify the way they've treated this kid who just wants to wear our colours.

I saw him play when he was given a chance( in the halves ) ...he was average.
We didn't even score 1 single point.

Then he got another crack at fullback...disaster.

Plenty of blokes swap between 1 and 6 and 7 .
He should be able to handle it if he is good enough or ready....I doubt he is either.

Agreed. Leutele was poor also. Along with Matt Wright last year. But we have no choice but to throw these kids in and see if they can handle it. Gardner did (and he was a defensive nightmare in the 20's). I know he is older , but I am surprised not to see Josh Lewis given a go. He showed promise as a junior. Whats the story with him? Not rated I assume. Cant be worse than Smith or Porter, surely.

Money (or lack of) and the fact that our top 25 halves have been pretty much injury free all year, thats why you havent seen Lewis.

When was that?

Pretty certain he hasn't played halfback in firsts.

Trial matches don't count - although he played 7 in the Tigs trial. he scored the try in the 18 - 4 loss and chipped over the defence for baz to regather and almost score.

trial at shark park against Manly.

we got absolutly flogged ...he couldn't even conjure up one single point in a trial...and he is meant to be the saviour?

they managed to score plenty...no problems.

Luke Covell with a bung knee would do better.

So you base this...

I saw him play when he was given a chance( in the halves ) ...he was average.
We didn't even score 1 single point.

on a trial game.

A kid who is new to a club playing halfback with nearly 20 other blokes he has never played with before.

Good call.
It would have to be his fault - i remember that game - the rest of the squad had absolute blinders.
They were all 10 out of 10.

fuuugg... no wonder you think Fplennho's a good coach.

So I gave him at least 4 games to display anything.

You gave flano about 1 .

Seriously - phlanno's been hanging around football clubs for a decade.

No other top grade coach has tried to poach him.
He has had a job because of Sticky.
Sticky also got him the gig with bellamy.

Youhear him talk he's got nothing.
He's taken over a losing side and changed NOTHING.
Might as well as left the last bloke in there.

This will be his one and only first grade gig ever.
At our club.

I get no satisfaction sticking it to a guy who's trying his best, but he ain't a first grade coach.
never has been - never will be.

Why sign him?????
why not put it out there and advertise the job?

At least see who might put their hand up and for what money they might be prepared to do it.

how do we know kearney won't do it for the same money?
How do we know?

But we jump in and sign this bloke for 2 years.

And you're wrong.
it didn't take me 1 game.
I KNEW before he started this was exactly where it was headed.

He hasn't been signed for 2 years, it's 1 year, with a 1 year option in the club's favour.

I don't see why AK deserves a go if he has a bad attitude and has the sulks cos he hasn't been picked - blokes like that you don't want in a tight situation. If he is such a pain in the arse why does he deserve special treatment above others?

well...I am gonna give Flano the benefit of the doubt and wait until next year.

If AK lifts his game then by all means play him...if he is acting as reported...no way does he earn his spot.

I'm with Carch on this one. Excluding his form in the trials and the first grade blooding, he hasn't shown anything in NSW Cup or in NYC. If you had to choose based on form and performance you would look at Lewis and Townsend long before considering Kelly.

Plus we've got Bill Haragon in the booth after suspension.............

Hope he doesn't have to make any tough decisions.
