It's funny when people talk about a score like Warner's (or for that matter 3 centuries in 4 games) and preface it with "it was a flat track though"


If it's so easy why didn't several other players show that type of form?

Why has no one else in domestic one day history come that close to 200?


In terms of Warner, the selectors just need to suck it up and accept he's not going to be the most consistent player. But what he brings when he's on song more than makes up for that.

Final will be a good game. Today was a bit of an anticlimactic semifinal as NSW v VIC was happening for the 3rd time this competition. Why each state played 6 games and not 5 is beyond me.

They've got to go back to a full home and away competition for next summer imo

edit - With warner gone, NSW will have to fight and work hard, otherwise QLD holds the upper hand, team sports never revolves around the exploits of one player to a whole team. Although many times it does, especially when a player is assigned or believed to be 'a talisman'

Although having said that, finals: or more of a game with a trophy to win at the end of a game does do funny things to players mindsets. Had it been just "another game in the tournament", Warner would have not tried to hit a ball too hard
