Sanity Prevails... NRL hires IMG to outsource international TV Rights

For all of thos UK expats (and those who can get SKY throughout Europe) TV coverage has finally begun.

A channel called MSK (SKY 433) now badged premier sports is showing three games this weekend that started with the tigers v dogs game this morning. Aparrently they will be showing games on a weekly basis. 3 games a week would be amazing! MSK is available to anyone with news and events pack (pretty much every subscriber has it £1 a month)

SKY Sports have also picked up rights to the VB test, origin series, grandfinal and a weekly highlights show.

Worlds largest sports and entertainment company, TWI (now img media) produce a shedload of sports coverage and have links all over the world. Who knows why they weren't asked to look after the international tv deals from the start.
