Starts Friday with all 6 states playing

Victoria v New South Wales - MCG
South Australia v Queensland - Adelaide Oval
Western Australia v Tasmania - WACA

The competition is played in two parts

    First part: Oct 31 - Dec 8 2014
    2nd part: Feb 7 - March 16th 2015

    Final is March 21-25, 2015

I don't think we play test cricket after India in our summer till the ashes in July, so a good 6-7 months

No idea why Doran isn't playing for NSW. Would love to know that one.

So just about when the World Cup is played. A lot of these games will be played at secondary venues like Allan Border Field and Glenelg. Except for the final.

Hartley (142no) should be next in line after Haddin.

Here's an opportunity for young batsmen to push for a call to the Australian Test Team.

Apart from Warner, Clarke and Smith the other spots are open. And Clarke is vulnerable to injury.

And no more playing allrounders who bat and bowl a little bit at 5 and 6.

Anyone batting in the top 6 has to be capable of getting big hundreds.

Epic collapse from Qld, from 2-130 to all out 152. Least Joe Burns made runs, almost carried his bat. Made 98 and was last man out, he's a quality young batsmen.
