Well done Cougars.

Things are looking bright for the future of Penrith.

There is some great talent in our Premier League side,
as well as the sides below that.

We are lucky to have such a vast and talented pool of
young players in the Penrith district.

GORDON OUTSTANDING FOR COUGARS IN VB SEVENS WIN

Feb 14 - Queenslander Michael Gordon - playing in his first match for the St Marys-Penrith - was the outstanding player for the Cougars in Saturday's VB Shield competition.

He scored seven tries in helping the Cougars win the tournament.

"Had there been an award for player of the tournament, Gordon would have won it - he's so quick," team manager John Killen said today.

Paul Aiton wasn't far behind Gordon, scoring five tries.

John also singled out David McLean, Peter Wallace and Damien Blanch for their performances.

"It was an excellent team effort," Head Coach John Lang said this morning. "There wasn't a disappointing performance among them."

There were two late changes to the side - Grant Purdon and Matthew Cross were replaced by Scott Russell and Junior Moors.
