"Actually guys, it's just on a three year cycle," piped in Sterlo, sounding a bit sickened by the two senile old bastards he had to work with. "One year QLD get their advantgae, then NSW, then it's in neutral territory. The crowd won't factor in much this game either way."
"Either way, NSW are robbed! Robbed STERLO!!!" Gus screeched, flecks of foam landing on Sterlo's head.
Rabs mumbled something unintelligable, then robotically recited the team list for the match.
"Jarryd Hayne, Brett Morris, Michael Jennings, Josh Morris, Blake Ferguson, James Maloney, Mitchell Pearce, Paul Gallen, Robbie Farah, James Tamou, Ryan Hoffman, Luke Lewis, Greg Bird, Anthony Watmough, Andrew Fifita, Trent Merrin, Josh Reynolds make up the Blues side this evening."
Wally Lewis dictated terms, taking over to announce the Queensland team.

After some National Anthem singing, and a D list musical performance, it was time to kick off. Cameron Smiith lobbed the ball deep. James Maloney caught it, and passed it to Fifita.
Fifita charged as hard as possible, and Ben Te'o charged just as hard at him. However both were too stupid, and lead with the head. CRACK, massive head clash. Both players collapsed. The ref called time off, and doctors rushed the field. Fifita had a massive concussion, and Te'o had a broken nose, cheek, and eyesocket. They were carted off the field quickly.
Well, this is certainly a bad start...
