andrew symonds changes the dynamics completely

can consolidate but still score quick
could destroy a powerplay
great fielder
handy bowler

our ODI team needs symonds badly

good team...i'd like north in the team

reason why i'd have north is to get more lefties in the team..katich and marsh score at similar rates except katich is intimidating and can stay in for much longer

Lol what happened to Haurie? And a big no to McGain he won't be there for the next WC so get a spinner that will be. Doherty or Heal should be given more game time. Heal is also a good hitter.

It wont matter who the batters are if our bowlers are crap.... It puts too much pressure on the batsmen knowing our attack wont stop the opp reaching our total...

I'm leaning that way as well, Haddin has never struck me as a big hitter. He can chip over the infield and hit the 4s but hes not really a 6 hitter from what I've seen. We know what Ronchi can do when he gets going. Him at 7 would offer a big hitter which we are missing, could try opening but he has failed there quite a bit this season. But if he can keep better than Haddin then that is a plus already.

I think we need Katich's stability at the top of the order.

Not sure whether we have destroyed Warner by changing his game, or he is just not up to international level yet.

Hughes could be another option, his ODI record for the blues is ordinary but his 20/20 record is brilliant. I have no doubt in his ability to play ODI for Australia but I think Kat is the man we need atm.

Hilfy is still a big problem, no change up, every ball is 140ks, far too predictable, and he is not really swinging the ball so he is just feeding them half valleys atm.
