Yeah he hits em ok in the shorter formats. The ANZ team looks like they're going for the runs with Warner, Gayle, and Smith. Even Uzi can get a move on once he gets in. Will be interesting to see what they come up with for bowlers.
Scott Coyte's available...

I'm sure he'd prefer playing with Gayle than against him....

Seriously though he would make a solid depth signing for any team. Apart from that over against Gayle he didn't get collared too often. Not someone you'd really target for you top 11 but will do a job if needed as one of your 12-18 signings.

Mitchell Johnson declined the offer from the scorchers
Having fielded an offer from the Perth Scorchers, Johnson decided it would do him little good to try to squeeze T20 appearances in between home Test series against New Zealand and India, which follow winter and spring tours to Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Making a big assumption that he's going to be in the test side. (oh yeah they haven't sacked Hilditch have they)

Edwards is an interesting one. Not the first name I would have thought of as an international target. Doug could be an excellent signing though if the Hilditch keeps leaving him out of the test side.

Lee and Cummins gives the pink side one of the best quick attacks in the comp.

The Adelaide Strikers have given a new lease of life to Adam Crosthwaite, the former Victoria wicketkeeper, who hasn't played at the elite level since early 2009. Crosthwaite moved to Sydney when the Bushrangers made it clear Matthew Wade was their No.1 gloveman, but he has not managed to find a way into the New South Wales squad.
Crosthwaite will join his former mentor Darren Berry, who was an assistant coach at Victoria and is now in charge of the Strikers and South Australia. The Strikers have also signed Lee Carseldine, the Queensland batsman who lost his state contract this year, and the Tasmania fast bowler Brendan Drew.
The South Australia-contracted players Theo Doropoulos and Gary Putland have also become Strikers.

Butts is an interesting pick up, and Ben Dunk could be a great value pick up as reserve keeper.

Shane Watson's an international player, as is Brett Lee (although he should only be a former international player) and to an extent Smith. They are just not overseas players
