The Mist - TV Series

Has anybody seen this yet? Apparently, three episodes have aired in the US so far to very mixed reviews which are mostly bad, stating that it has political undertones.

I was wondering how the TV show compared to the movie, which I thought was excellent, especially the ending.

I'm currently watching the first episode on Netflix so far it's ok.

The show has more religious overtones than the movie but if you are expecting interdimensional monsters like in the film forge it you won't see them in the TV show, like the movie it dwells more on human behaviour and how easily people can be manipulated.

Watched the first couple, just cant get into it.

Loved the movie though.
