I'll top this when the Rhinos humiliate the cream of the NRL, when will you learn that the Leeds Rhinos are simply the best team in the world?

I've been watching the NRL for years and whilst its a stronger competition than the Super League, your sides can't play footy at the level of the Rhinos and Saints.

This won't even be close, it'll be the World Club Beatdown.

Wow, all the half-decent players are stacked in 3 teams (and one of those is French!!!). The rest are filled over-rated Aussies, the majority of whom would struggle at QC level.

Yep, great competition as the England team proudly showed!

Jeez, some of you people have short memories.

That's exactly when the game used to be played and the British teams still dominated. But, surprise surprise, the Aussies complained that the timing didn't suit them as their players were still celebrating their own Grand Final.

The fact is that Australia are the official world excuse champions and the sorest losers on the planet. Whenever they lose, the Australians are quick to reel off the same list of tired excuses.

I love Australia as a country but the lack of grace and humility from sportsmen, coaches and fans ought to be a source of embarrassment.

It would be great to occasionally see an Aussie concede that they were beaten by the better team (as happened today!)

How about the English teams come to Australia and play our champions 5 rounds into the NRL, then we'll see who dominates who. Everything is in the ESL teams favour during the world club challenge and that can't be denied.

The RFL/Super League clubs would absolutely love it if someone within the Australian game had the ability/motivation to stage this fixture Down Under. The problem is, they can't be a**ed and would sooner leave it all down to the RFL (and then whinge about it afterwards). If an NRL club put in a serious proposal to host this fixture, Richard Lewis would snap their arm off.

Sadly, the Aussies have only ever once shown the desire to stage this fixture and, guess what, the Poms still won! (Wigan beat Brisbane at Lang Park in 1994).

In all honesty no point arguing, the world cup sides have shown the true skills of each country & no offence the english team was lacking some great NRL talent....world club challenge will be very interesting to watch as it will be way more even :)

But it isn't played after the grand final and the NRL don't want to stage it in Australia, so that argument is pointless.
If the NRL teams are so much better they should be able to win anywhere and at anytime.

Its extremly hard with no game time under our belts and your season has already kicked off. It doesnt matter anyway we should still win and win easily.

Manly are playing a warm up game against Harlequins, so will have a little game time in English conditions. The fact is there is no right time to play the WCC, it will never happen just after the two grand finals because of internationals, so lets just get on with it when it is and see who comes out on top.

you might win you might lose but surely you must admit most things are stacked in your favour.....furthermore aussie sides have lost and trust me gotten over it very quickly.

Why would the Australians take the WCC seriously. Look at their International side ! They are a plain out joke of the highest order. It's basically the Premier League of The NRL.

For the record - Melbourne "rested" 95% of their stars. Manly will be doing the same. You will see guys like Bani, Neumann, Rodney, Bailey & co.

We will still put up a good fight though, because our reserve graders are right up there with your Internationals.

Sucked in for stealing all The Australian players ! Your country is a Rugby League JOKE. PNG are your closest competitors.
