Thursday night Final ..... Fan friendly time slot ???

Just curious to know from those in that part of the world if the playing of the game --a semi-final -- on a Thursday night will greatly impact on the crowd ?

Realise the two combatants are closely located ......but still could they not have this semi or the other on the Saturday along with the Million Pound game ???

I was hoping it was Sunday morning as I was going to start the day early at the Star.

Thursday nights are absolutely dreadful for players, fans and officials and are universally hated by everyone in the sport. But unless you live in the UK you don't realize the oppression we have from Sky Sports over here. We're totally subservient to them, if they wanted to play matches at 3AM on a Wednesday morning it would happen because the sport literally would not exist without their money. And they're fully aware of that which is why they treat the sport with so little respect.
