Some nuff-nuff just interviewed Presto and Jake Webster on Kerri Anne.
Poor ol' Presto its a good thing he is a gun footy player.
He said 'Its good being back at the Gold Coast. I was here when they had the other team two years back'
Maths aint his strong point - either that or his time in Sydney has really flown.
They showed the Titans mascot 'Blade' and yep - hes as geniused as all the other big awkward manga styled mascots running round the league. Those stupid costumes really restrict movement. Theyre no fun any more.
Victor the Viking - now theres a fun mascot!
Then as Presto and Jake went into the background kicking and passing the footy to each other - a good 60-70% of the whole segment was devoted to Anthony Ikin and some Titans cheerleader. They said that the cheergirls are being seen as just eye candy (or something to that effect) and the Titans wanted to put the focus back on the routines they do. Ikin says this as he stands next to a hot young lass in the shortest mini skirt and titan-coloured sports bra. Yeah - dress them in less clothing, then try and tell us its all about the routines!
Apparently the Titans have sole 40 thousand tix to the game this weekend!
I hope theyre not dissappointed when the dragons win! ;-)
