With Todd Carney being released by Catalans with two years to go on his contract plus Saints putting the red line through him, it looks like his career is over. What a complete waste of talent.

His performances this year when he managed to not be injured were nothing special. He's past it.

I wonder how he feels about the last two clubs he was with winning the comp two years after he was sacked from both.

To paraphrase U2, I doubt if Toddy will ever find what he's looking for.

What caused him to be released from the remainder of his contract? Pissing in someone else's mouth?

He fakes sickies and injuries to take time off many times during the year at the Sharks and now in France.

Time off and still gets paid. He has no will to play seriously or aims to win.

He was pissed around the streets of Cronulla mid week, nearly every week in the lead up to his piss in mouth episode. With talent comes a certain level of dedication, in which he had little.

He was sacked by the Roosters at the end of 2011 due to repeated infringements that year including drink driving, and breaking alcohol bans.

The Sharks sacked him mid-2014 after the bubbler.

Its no coincidence that the Roosters sacked Carney, hired Maloney and won a premiership.
Sharks followed the same blueprint and got the same result.

Why doesn't he just "convert to Islam" like everyone else? Anthony Mundine could take him under his wing for a while and tell us how well he's doing and that he's really a good kid. Shit, he could even elect for the full SBW package and just let Mundine do all his thinking and talking for him.

The bloke is a winner. When he retires he'll never be spoken of in the same breath as your Thurstons or Johns or Fittlers or Lockyers - but Roosters Sharks and to a lesser extent Warriors fans won't forget what he brought to their clubs.

One of my all time favourite players.

Has the hide to sue the Sharks for being sacked.

If he thought he was living up to his end of the contract and conducting himself as a professional footballer and properly preparing for games then he has no reality of standards.

A kid that never grew up.

Congrats to the NRL for not letting him back.

Hopefully that helps the Sharks case against him.
