Tv coverage and 5 day turn around killing the scheduling?

seems a number of clubs are very unhappy and concerned about the financial implications of not having Sunday afternoon fixtures. With sky showing games when they do it has screwed the fan friendly fixtures for a number of clubs.

Those same clubs decided that the majority of them abandoned Sunday afternoons. Only Cas', Wakey and maybe Hull KR still bothered. A lot of them switched to Friday evenings to minimise the impact when Sky chose their games later in the season. Friday's are also supposed to be easier to sell corporate seats for. The regular fan isn't worthy of consideration any more. If I had my way only televised games wouldn't be played on a Sunday.

Deluded pom? You're right. Rhino's were first to ditch Sunday afternoon games and move to Friday's. Sadly money and TV rule nowadays....
