All back hitting it up till Kata can't get up on 4th.
Broncos forwards pummelled us, we lost that fight big time
Kata now off
6mins left Roberts loses ball playing it on their 40m
Green kicks in goal.
Gelling ducks it.
Poor Gelling struggling, bit of a steep ask
Easy catch too.
No kick pressure.
No effort to get to the scrum.
Old boys day for sure.
Dragons will kill us next week if we do this again.
Broncs won by superior line-speed and good contact in the tackle.
Had to happen.
Just disappointing to do it when we should have won if we showed up.
I'm looking forward to Lawton getting fit and ready. He can replace tiring, or un-performing, players. For example, Luke could've been taken off today.
Yep, ref gave them longer in tackle.
But no kick pressure, no line speed, some average effort in defense.
They wanted it more.
Wonder if we thinking ahead to next week.
Our energy was way down.
Not sure what happened during the week, but it didn't work, don't do it again.
what a disastrous game. Gelling may be required next week judging by the look of Kata. He was pretty ordinary today. Basic throwing from dummy half. looked like he'd never done it before.
Do we move Mannering to centre and play Papaili in the forwards?
How far away is Beale?
Shit loss, but it's been a great start to the season. Hope to bounce back next week. Won't get any easier
Gelling needs to learn how to pass left to right Can he learn that in a week?
Brisbane were very strong, we weren’t terrible but caught napping big time.
I think Sam Thaiday wanted to find out how long the broncos could stay in the tackle before getting penalised at the end there.
Pack was thoroughly outplayed, the end really
As the weekly grind takes over there will be up and down weeks. This was definitely a down week.
Attitude in defence is what lost it for us more than anything else. Their first 3 tries were just lazy.
Energy was low for us, high for them. There's only one outcome in that situation.
