Barrett and Smith are in their prime

Schuster was a success imo, Craig Innes, Scott Gourley, Ray Price, Inga Tuigamala, Ricky Stuart (debatable as very early), Brian Smith, Kurt Shurlock Jonathan Davies, Scott Gibbs were all successful to varying degrees...

A centre pairing of Innes and Gibbs would be fairly formidable **EDIT** how could I forget Michael O'Connor!

Harsh on Ellis, he played for the Kiwis FWIW - Crossan was pretty much mud at union too, but played a fair bit of first grade, Kirwan was already pretty much washed up, and Mark Carter was hugely overrated in union

Frano Botica was part of that Kiwis that upset the Kangaroos at Olympic Park and went well in the British League as well.

That's why I voted Manu. The really went after him, but he just kept launching himself, he wasn't perfect by any stretch but he really really tried, and there were s lot of very tough metres there
