I think the raiders will account for the tigers pretty easily. The starting front rowers in brown and fiagusta are irreplaceable for the tigers, who were very lucky to get away with a win last week.

Canberra Raiders 36 (Lee, Reuben, Hawkins, Mago, Garard, Barnett, Tomarchio tries; Cornish 4/7 goals) def West Tigers 16 (Santi, Cherrington, Kazzi tries; Rudolph 2/3 goals)

Raiders lead 36-0 until the 65th minute before the Tigers threatened late. They just about scored their forth try with 8 minutes remaining but Brooks spilled the ball over the try line.

Wests were never in it. If their chances didn't slim with the omissions of Brown & Fiagatusa they certainly did when Brooks suffered an ankle injury early in the contest. The Raiders were well on top in all departments with Luke Bateman starring but they will be disappointed with their last 20 where they put their foot off the gas.

Departing backrow Brendon Santi was just about the only highlight for the Tigers. The tireless backrow had an extremely high involvement in the contest and looked absolutely shattered at full-time.

The result means that the Raiders will play the second place Penrith outfit in what should be a fantastic prelim final.

Meanwhile in the other game, the Warriors lead Roosters 16-0 at the 29th minute mark. Warriors are looking a lot sharper this week, troubling the Roosters through the middle and slicing them to pieces with their superior support play. Returning hooker Siliva Havili has made a big difference for the Warriors.

I think the winner of the Penrith - Raiders game will wind up winning the comp
Penrith will go in deserved favourites but should be a cracker

The hooker and the f5/8 for the Warriors were great. The two starting props really laid the platform too.

Warriors 58 (T. Lolohea 4, Lisone 2, Vete, Malu, Havili, Samson tries; Lino 9/10 goals) def. Sydney Roosters 6 (Langi try; Langi goal)

Warriors too big, too strong and too skillful. This was a much better performance than last week and they made short work of a Roosters outfit which simply didn't turn up.

I agree with andrew057's stand outs. It will be interesting to see what will become of Lolohea - he has scored 22 tries this year but his strengths lie in his running game and not his playmaking ability.

He's only 18 I think so he's got a few years in NYC left.

I would say he will be given another 10-15 games in NYC next season then will be put in to the Vulcans to continue that development.

Stacey Jones is the NYC coach next season so he will work on the kids playmaking.

If he doesn't show any development to that side of his game he may end up a centre I would say...

Really dissapointed with the tigers, but not unexpected. At full strength they have tedesco, nofoaluma, sironen, Moses, brown, fiagusta and Vela all in the starting side. Regardeless the Raiders are a good team, agree the winner of them and the panthers will win the whole thing.
