What ESL players could cut it in the NRL?

Don't really follow it properly, but is there any players in the ESL (ie British not the truckload of Kiwis and Aussies) that could cut it in the NRL if they came over.

Melbourne had two players recently from the UK (2002 & 2003) and they weren't the greatest of success' (Keith Mason couldn't get a go) and Chris Thorman has left Parra and gone back home. When he is not suspended Adrian Morely has been the only one that has made it from memory.

There are plenty in Rugby Super League who could play first grade in the NRL.

Senior
Farrell
Sculthorpe
Carney

Dogboy has a pretty good list there. If I could take any 3 players from the ESL they would all be brits - Fielden, McGuire and Sculthorpe.



Alot of them have the attacking prowess to kill it here (ie McGuire, he will give Oz a scare...) however it is the speed of the game that would be the shock. ESL is still slower, except when the top teams play.

Most of the Brits at Leeds, Hull, Bradford, St Helens and Wigan would go fine in the NRL.

But they get paid heaps more over there, so hard to see why they would come.

I would love Farrell to come play for the Storm.
