What was that?

Shocking second half performance by the Raiders. Davico, putting it simply was awful. So many mistakes. It was crap. Drew, Smith, McLinden and Davico were bloody hopeless.

Thank god we have the bye next weekend. We are looking flat and disorganised.

Man I am pissed off with that effort.

Go easy on Davico. He does drop alot of ball but he is the only forward who goes straight up the guts. Every other forwards is running wide or cant play more then 15 minutes (rhino). We need a couple more forwards to hit into the ruck and get us a bit of a platform.

I also dont think Hodgson is a prop so we didnt have a specialist frontrower on the bench. Macca, Tongue, Hodgo and Martin is too small a bench againt the warriors, especially when Ohara is having fitness problems.

Michael Monoghan should also come into the side. He is the best organiser in the club and he has been killing it in reggies. Macca seems reluctant to take on the line these days. He should be told to run it and not worry so much about playmaking.

The only positive was that we are executing in the oposition red zone quite well and scoring a few close range tries. If we can combine that with the ruck attack we had working well early in the year we should be back on track.

The next two games will determine if we are fairdinkum about making the top 4.

Not wanting to rub in too much salt, but without Lauiti'iti, Guttenbeil, Seuseu and Marsh, you could easily say that was close to the Warriors reserve pack the Raiders failed miserably against. It's not like Stacey was red-hot either, and Brent Webb still managed to show he's as defensively naive as any fullback in the comp. In other words Canberra fans...POP!

Despite still "running Greg Wolfgramm close as the worst player ever", I do hope Faumuina's record's pretty clean. Missing a date with the Bunnies shouldn't be too bad, but I would like him back for that Cowboys match. That game looms large for the Warriors in terms of momentum.

We were definately the better side in the 1st half. Then everyone seemed to give up. Hey legend, like u probably know i took that bet too, and I've got the bloody avatar. I reckon if we make a mid week bet or somethin like to do with SOO maybe, and we win we should be able to change it back. Just need to work out what the bet will be...

Can a Raider fan answer this question for me? If Allan Tongue ever made it into the starting lineup of any team, what # jersey would he wear? :p

Whats better than two Raiders fans having to have Warriors avatars for the rest of the season? Two Raiders fans having to have Maroons avatars for the rest of the season 8) .

I think you Warriors fans are getting a little carried away, especially Kipper. Sure you deserved to win the game but say "POP" is just pissing in peoples pockets. Shit, I could have said pop after you guys choked against the Eels last week.

In hindsight, the loss to the Eels is probably what got you across the line against us. It kncoked the comlacency out of the Warriors and had them fired up for a big match. I would hardly say a pack containing Tookey, Betham, Villisanti and Swann a reserve grade pack. Get your hand off it Kipper.

All this has been taken on board and the next time the Warriors capitulate against a side I'll be there to rub it in. Remember, it's one game a piece this season.

BTW, where's the idiot who placed this bet?

Legend - Maybe I was a little harsh on your boys' bubble, but surely you agree that if they're going to do anything in the playoffs they still need a few more big away scalps, for their own belief as much as anything. At 16-6 they had a great chance to put a truly desparate side away, and couldn't do it. The way our media are riding them, inflicting a heavy loss on the Warriors could've done their heads in for the year (trust me, you want this), and with a bye to follow there were no excuses. Was it our first taste of a few other sides having gears that Canberra, for all their camaraderie and eagerness, won't be able to match?

Kipper, you make it sound as though you dished out a 40 point flogging to us. Remember, a month ago, we were the ones who came from behind to snatch an eight point win against the odds so it equals out at the end of the day.

We have still only lost four games this year and have beaten the Bulldogs, Warriors, Panthers, Dragons and came extremely close against the Broncos.

If we can beat Melbourne and St George in our next two matches we should still finish well within the top four. I'm thankful we don't have to play Penrith or Parramatta again. I think both sides are gaining some momentum. As for the Warriors, we'll see how they finish up after the Cowboys game next week. Still early days but i'd rather be in second spot than sixth after 15 rounds.
