Canberra easily, sadly its mainly due to referee's giving us plenty to whinge about
see the tilse no try last week as but one example of many. It stands to reason we'd whinge most, we cop it worse then any other side in the comp
That just isn't true. All teams get dud calls, there are teams which get worse then the Raiders do IMO. They atleast receive more penalties then they have go against them.

Penalties For:
1. Sharks = 103
2. Cowboys = 101
3. Warriors = 97
4. Eels = 96
5. Broncos = 91
6. Manly = 88
7. Raiders = 87
8. Souths = 87
9. Dragons = 84
10. Bulldogs = 82
11. Tigers = 81
12. Roosters = 80
13. Storm = 79
14. Titans = 71
15. Knights = 70
16. Panthers = 69

Penalties Against:
1. Manly = 97
2. Roosters = 97
3. Cowboys = 96
4. Warriors = 92
5. Storm = 92
6. Titans = 92
7. Knights = 92
8. Panthers = 88
9. Tigers = 86
10. Raiders = 82
11. Sharks = 81
12. Broncos = 77
13. Eels = 76
14. Dragons = 76
15. Bulldogs = 75
16. Souths = 67

Penalty Average:
1. Souths = 6.69/5.15 (56.494%)
2. Sharks = 7.36/5.79 (55.978%)
3. Eels = 7.38/5.85 (55.814%)
4. Broncos = 6.50/5.50 (54.167%)
5. Dragons = 6.46/5.85 (52.500%)
6. Bulldogs = 6.31/5.77 (52.229%)
7. Raiders = 6.69/6.31 (51.479%)
8. Warriors = 6.93/6.57 (51.323%)
9. Cowboys = 7.21/6.86 (51.269%)
10. Tigers = 5.79/6.14 (48.503%)
11. Manly = 6.77/7.46 (47.568%)
12. Storm = 6.08/7.08 (46.199%)
13. Roosters = 5.71/6.93 (45.198%)
14. Panthers = 5.31/6.77 (43.949%)
15. Titans = 5.46/7.08 (43.558%)
16. Knights = 5.38/7.08 (43.210%)

My biggest issue, is how can teams like the Knights, Panthers and Titans have so many fewer penalties awarded to them then the average team. Do teams come up against them and suddenly clean up their act?

I can understand some teams being penalised more then others for being dirty... but there shouldn't be such a big difference in penalties awarded to teams.

Irrelevent stats etc etc etc

I care not for your irrelevent stats on penalties given and conceeded, i refer to decisions by the video ref. I dont have a source but i recall reading last year our TRY percentage from Video refs was the lowest in the comp, the benifit of the doubt doesnt exsist when refereeing the raiders. Nor does common sense.

I know alot of teams can claim this, but other clubs might cop the odd dud every month or so, canberra consistantly have fair trys disallowed and have dodgey tries awarded against them. I recon we'd average close to one poor video ref decision a week

Don't you know? The TAB has rigged it with the NRL referees so they can always have the Raiders as massive outsiders and never have to pay.

Penrith also have some extremely dodgy video referee decisions made against us on a weekly basis, and that's ontop of lopsided penalty counts almost every week.

You're just more likely to notice the decisions that go against your team then you are against the likes of the Knights or Panthers. I always notice the decisions that go against the team i tip each week. I like to blame my terrible tipping on the referees.

Interesting. The last 2 weeks the Raiders have generally had favourable calls from the on-field referee though. In fact, the overall penalty count for the Broncos and Bulldogs games is something like 14-2 in the Raiders' favour. If you had done those stats just 2 weeks ago it would have looked a lot different.

The wierd thing is I don't think the Raiders have done anything different in defence, the referees have just stopped penalising them. Not that I'm complaining about that, but I can't for the life of me understand it.
