Panama draw 1-1 with Honduras...

Which confirms the USA and Costa Rica have qualified for Brazil.

Panama have now overtaken Mexico into 4th.

Haha looks like the kiwi's may just avoid Mexico, although Mexico still has to play Panama at home.

That leaves Honduras, Panama, & Mexico fighting for 3rd & 4th, some interesting games ahead in CONCACAF.

A coach that wasn't upto it, a federation too proud to sack him admitting they picked the wrong man, & some of their better players not getting along with the coach.

They finally did sack him after the Honduras loss but many fans & commentators in Mexico say its too late, he should've been sacked after the Gold Cup.

Draw has been done for the two-legged ties on 11-15 October and 15-19 November that will decide the CAF's 5 slots (team listed first has first leg at home):

Ivory Coast v Senegal
Ethiopia v Nigeria
Tunisia v Cameroon
Ghana v Egypt
Burkina Faso v Algeria

Ghana/Egypt's a massive tie.

Rest of the WCQ results have been lost in the whole Socceroos discussion but overnight:

- Germany qualified
- Belgium qualified
- Columbia qualified
- Switzerland qualified

Honduras might yet qualify today depending on the Mexico/Panama result.

The remaining direct European and Sth American places will be decided on Wednesday morning:

- England needs to beat Poland
- Spain needs just a draw against Georgia
- Bosnia needs a win away to Lithuania to qualify for its first WC
- Russia just needs a point away to Azerbaijan
- Ecuador and Chile both need a point and funnily enough play one another so there definitely won't be any funny stuff going on in that game :sarcasm:

All games in CONCACAF just kicked off, should be a interesting day there. Honduras need just a draw to secure 3rd place, Mexico needs just a draw to secure 4th, Panama needs to win against USA & hope Costa Rica beats Mexico. USA has taken a mostly b team to Panama City.
