Forgot about Petrov, put him in instead of Fernandes. In the OP I mentioned only current signings, which counts out Bojinov, if/when he comes to City, he'll place out Sturridge.

I like Samaras too, but Bianchi is gonna take the place of the big finisher in the line-up I'd reckon. Samaras will be a great guy to have on hand to come off the bench/start in case of injury. Vassell and Corradi can go somewhere, just leave. Sturridge is amazing from what I've seen...although I'd love to see him get some more first team minutes. His potential is skill and speed of SWP with a better cross and shot imho.

I would think that the Prince would be in the mix there too

I hope Rocha never plays first grade again we have so much better options

I'd be surprised if Bale walked straight into a spot, I think he'd have to earn it, although the repotrts from the warm up games is that he has been in very good form

I didn't realise Prince was signed when I did that team Twizzle.

Still think Jenas and Zokora will have the jump on him in the middle.

I wasn't sure about Bale in that team ahead of Lee at first, but I think he will get first shot for some reason.

My mate reckons Bale will end up the left mid down the track.

I know, I know :lol: But I had to put Eduardo in there somewhere after he scored against Lazio this morning.

I did make the call for Hleb and have the same 11 as Saint Dragon and Phillips in the Gunners thread after the Inter Milan win. I'd say for first game that is how it will be. As the season goes on though, I think RVP and ED will be paired a lot more. Trying to fit Hleb in then! MUST have Eboue on the right of midfield, he's going to make it his own. Injuries and suspensions to play their part, but can only pick 11.
