Hurrell was absolutely immense. Very very good game. Johnson controlled well didn't overplay his hand and took the line on well and often. Tomkins made a few errors but did a lot of very good things also.

Honourable mentions to Bakuya who was the best if the rest IMO. Well played by Friendy, Tommy and the Chad as well. Fish for his 4 tries was awesome too, Matagi and the rest of the pigs were good aswell.

We didn't miss Mateo at all. Hmm

I don't know about the Hon. mention to Tomkins though. I don't want to put the boot in, but for what we are paying him, he should be having at least a solid game each week. He's making some howlers with receiving kicks! That's acceptable for a rookie, not a high class international player. Yes, he did some good things on attack and pulled off some good tackles. But Jesus, I hope he gets the "settling in" period over quickly.

Back to the positives! I'm really impressed with how all our props are going. Lillyman is really putting his hand up for a Queensland starting jersey. And the real Matulino seems to be back again. And piss off Fatty Martel to the NSW Cup, you were not missed!

Good effort from the whole team. Tomkins still way to many errors. Will he improve? I hope so. Bakuya's best game as a Warrior. Lillyman and Matulino great as usual. TL was a big boost too. Fish finished well. Still think Manu needs more attacking ball.

It's a strange feeling having the rub of the green for once. Haven't felt that feeling since 2012.

Why? It's not like he has a history of making bad decisions or even being that error prone. At least he made up for them by setting up a couple of tries and scoring one himself. Worst comes to worst you just move him to 5/8th as his contract goes on.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's doing some good things for the Warriors. But regardless of what we're paying him, there's still too many rookie mistakes in his game at the moment.
