This rumour has been doing the rounds for a while. As we have all identified, we need a big mobile front Rower (or two). Not sure that he is the answer.

Yeh heard that along with inu to tigers and grant to souffs for rest of this year.

Would be good if proctor signed with us..

good player but not a real strategic signing.. we already have enough running back rowers... we need another genuine prop, and a triangle player to come off the bench..

Adding to the rumor is that this could be a mid season transfer, so if he signs, he could come into the side immediately.

Definitely all for this. Should allow us to play Merrin, Frizell and Ah Mau tighter.

Whilst we are still short a mobile front rower, our pack has shown that it can definitely hold its own this year. We certainly would have learnt a few lessons on Friday night. I don't think we were that far off. A good opportunity to bounce back against a desperate Bunnies side this weekend.

Would say yes on his best form, a little bit MIA this year but then again might not have his mind on the job. Still need another prop for depth as well though.

i think he would be a good buy even though we are a little light on props, he might sure up our right side defence a little bit more. good hole runner as well

As much as I'm not a fan of Thompson to centre, can you imagine a right edge of Proctor and Thompson?!

I'd say more likely that Creagh will slot into the front row, or possibly Merrin. Proctor and Thompson at right and left second row gives some real strike on the edges. Might convince JDB to grow his hair out...

The pack we need is:

Run on side:
Kasiano, Rein, Stockwell, Creagh, Thompson, Merrin.

Bench:
De Belin, Cooper, Ah Mau/Harrison, Hunt.

If Proctor is signed, he would fit in for Harrison/Ah Mau.
If Hunt is to be replaced, his replacement is likely to come from the Cutters.
Rein should step up and play for 80min.
If we need a more robust right center, Peter Mata'Utia is the replacement.
If we need a more consistant performance in the halves, then Witt is our best option at 7.

I think its a big signing as he is big, strong, mobile and runs good lines, im very happy if we have pulled this off.

Possm I'm not convinced Kasiano is the answer, sure he's a big bopper, but he can be cumbersom in defence and doesn't have a great deal of game time. How do you transfer someone that big into a mobile fwd without them shedding too much weight?

OK, I can live with that. Who is the big bopper forward you would like to see join the Dragons. It seems that we have missed Tim Grant and I really can't see any other suitable forward available right now. Talk of some young Bulldog props or other youngsters is not what we need.

I believe we need a big strong seasoned and talanted prop to complement our mobile pack.
