Justin Hodges is filth

Never kept a personal tally myself but I recall his habit of launching himself into players when they were vulnerable wasn't exactly a great look.

I'm sure there were other moments too which made him bit of a target.

So what? That's part of footy.

It did seem a little odd and Sandow seemed to be wanting to have a chat to him about something, perhaps they've had words in the past. Still a low act though, even if you don't like a bloke you still shake their hand it's basic sportsmanship. Maybe Hodges will be asked later.

Lol. Hodges is a merkin because of his poor sportsmanship. Which he has once again displayed.

I don't think anyone here is offended for Sandow, just disgusted by the merkin that is Justin Hodges.

Hodges is a merkin. Whether it was Sandow, Tim Mannah or Anthony Watts trying to shake his hand.

Now, that it's cleared up for you, would you like to keep discussing the actual topic of this thread?

It becomes an issue if he makes a habit of it, just like Price with the charge downs. Again, I feel as if I'm forgetting something...it's been awhile since Sandow was last relevant enough to be hated on here.

Meanwhile, ol' man Hodgo, who should be retired is still going out there and scoring series winning tries.

Look it's poor form either way and I'd be interested to hear if there was something more to it. There certainly hasn't been a trend of poor on the field post match behaviour from him.

Not that big a deal really, people refuse handshakes for many reasons, see Suarez/evra, John Terry/Wayne Bridge. Who knows what's gone on between the 2.

Everyone loves to blast Hodges though warranted or not. What harm another kick?

I'm utterly outraged a man did not shake another mans hand. Disgusted, what a low human being etc

Shaking hands is the biggest joke in professional sport. American sports have it right, they just leave after the game is over. Some NBA and NFL players do it after games with people they know but baseballers and NHL players just leave immediately which is the way it should be

Who cares what Americans do?

By not shaking hands, shows that they are self-indulgent tossers .... Like Justin Hodges

Hmmm, you could understand 6 and 7 year olds not shaking hands after a game and displaying poor sportsmanship. Spose you can teach those boys what its all about before they develop bad habits.

This bloke has been named co-captain of the Broncos NRL side and he can't shake hands at the end of the game.

I applaud Griffin for addressing his mistake from previous years taking the captaincy from Thaiday. Parker is the obvious choice for the captain of this team but Hodges is the same self centred, bad sport he's been since he came into grade. Piss poor look but again reinforcing the reputation he's forged for himself so in the end it's no big surprise.

Exactly. I'd like to think we could carry our traditions because they are ours not becuse of American sports.

It was a really poor look particularly as Sandow continued to try and shake hands with Hodges and he refused point blank.

It wasn't as if Sandow only tried to shake his hands once.

Poor form indeed

A bit off topic but NHL players do line up to shake hands at the end of a playoff series as a sign of respect for a series well played. Every sport has its own traditions

The handshake is simply a sign of respect or a game well played, for whatever reason Hodges still should've shook Sandow's hand
