1 - I'm not a Warriors fan...

2 - that's the only person I've seen them linked too if late.

Without knowing what they're setting on at the moment... The Warriors have historically been well under the cap. At times they were rumoured to be using only half the cap.

I don't know where Tomkins 700K and Hoffmans 500K fit in to it... But they are a development club first and foremost... So they have a lot of players on low deals.

Johnson was resigned... And I've heard his deal is massive... And could be north of 700K. But considering the cap has gone up substantially and the likes of Mateo and Friend resigned on significantly reduced deals of late...

They could be sitting on massive cap space...

They have a coach. It will be announced publically this week though my understanding is McFadden already has penned a two year contract.

Agreed. Hoffman isn't a dumb player, he doesn't sign without asking who the coach is and he spoke of having massive respect for Cappy and his vision for the club going forward. Warriors rarely release things when they happen, it's more of a "hold onto the good news until we need it to deflect bad news" deal.

There was a rumour on the tigers forum that he would sign with the Raiders this week. He might be worried he can't get a gig ahead of Tupou though.
