QLD massive underdogs

Qld are now massive underdogs for the first time in eight years. Leveling up in NSW against the NSW/Hayne juggernaut with injuries to key players will be difficult. If QLD win it will be on of the biggest upsets in Origin history. :)

They would be massive underdogs, if they weren't playing a side that is likely to have Josh Dugan at centre and Will Hopoate on the wing. Neither in good form, both playing out of position and replacing two of our most reliable players in the past couple of series.

Even if Inglis and Slater were out. These dud selections will make sure any advantage we could have gained is lost.

Hoppa is in good form.
Maybe not Origin-level form, but he's been very good for us.

The last time Tonga played Origin, electricity wasn't invented.

Agree.
Already NSwails have got into the refs ear to give them all the rub of the green calls.
Daley can just call in a production line of players to replace any injuries.
Queensland have to repair busted and broken down players, drag ex-players out of retirement just to compete.
Then they attack our players integrity (Tate) and have created a NSW immortal fan-club.
Gee whiz, they even phoned the Queen to get Rabs and Gould Knighted.

Just today they took proceedings to a whole new level by blowing their own trumpet that they are rugby leagues heartland.
Really, fair dinkum, you have nine teams compared to Brisbane's one team.
The NRL is scared to put another team or two into Brisbane because they cant take the embarrassment of having to watch Queensland derbies hit 50 thousand compared to their less than 10 thousand blockbusters 1st verse third, Manly verse the dogs at Brookie, their great white hope,.

Origin 2 is a win/win for Queensland, if we win, we win, if we lose we win.
We are sending in a broken and busted team, full of courage, with a never say die attitude, into the Valley of Death we send the few, the mighty few.
Facing defeat will be our greatest victory.
Our boys will shed their blood for our future, Queensland, forever the underdogs.

You are the very embodiment of paranoia.

Also, let it be noted that the Brisbane team you love so much is single handedly responsible for the fact that there is still just one team in Brisbane.
Not the NRL.

You are missing Cronk from Game 1? Who else??? Slater and Ingis are named. Inglis has already said he is right to go. Slater will play. NSW is missing 2 x Morris and has a player with a torn bicep. The irony that you replace Cronk with the best half in the game currently. That's the only Win/Win you have for game 2. Any team that has won the last 8 series has no right to claim to be an underdog.

As for the bit about being scared to add another Brisbane team... Wake up you dropkick. The last time they put one in, the Broncos were heavily involved in starting a new competition. And an agreement to end it only if your monopoly was restored. The fact is that heartless, cheating club needs to be gutted, split in two and never spoke of again. That's the only way Brisbane gets a second team. A second team can only come from Ipswich or Redcliffe. Alternatively Toowoomba of the Sunshine coast may have to be it.

Its funny that people still go to the effort to reply to ookies posts

I offer up some intelligent conversation, .
Bury your head in the sand and support disrespectful nsw scum. It only shows your own person to be shallow.
Yes, Queensland have been the underdogs for the last 8 years. That is why the game has record support.
If NSW had won for the last 8 years, nobody would be watching or care.
Keep ignoring me, i have some strips to tear off Eagle above.

Wow, typical NSW supporter you are, leave out facts and make up your own little stories to boot.
The last time i looked Papalii played in Origin 1.
Can anyone else support this,.
We are missing maybe the greatest halfback the world has ever seen. Cooper Cronk, but that is ok, it means little to you because it is not your halfback, not a future immortal in waiting, Woods or Gallen. haha
Cherry Inglis and Slater are all injured. None might make the game, yet you dismiss this as being paranoid on my behalf.
When you lose your inforcer (Papalii) and your Halfback,(Cronk) and you have injuries to your best player, (Inglis) and Slater, i think you earn the right to be underdogs after losing on your own home ground.
Even you cant be that dumb and call Queensland the favourites to win game 2 in Sydney on your home ground.

As for bringing a second team into Brisbane, should have happened 5 years ago. Gallop sat on his arse did nothing.
